Active Myofascial Therapy is highly effective and fast! I target the specific trigger points that are causing the problem and we work them out through a series of movements and pressure. Each series begins with a thorough assessment to find out where you are, how you got there, and where you want to be. Then we meet a few times a week for either 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions. Typically, you begin to see lasting relief after just a few sessions and then we can move to once a month or so just to keep you feeling great! You also receive actions to do throughout your day to maintain the progress we make in our work together. 

This is not a relaxation massage. You are active throughout the session as you perform small movements to increase the effectiveness of the work. We are in conversation to make sure the treatment is working and you remain at your comfort level throughout. You remain fully clothed in comfortable clothes you can move in (yoga clothes are perfect!).
