The Hawaiian Herbal Detox Body Wrap is a complete healing experience

Begin with a brief full body massage using the Awa oil. Awa oil is used to reduce pain and it's antispasmodic qualities aid in reducing muscle spasms. It helps to relieve stress, anxiety and restlessness. Then you will be wrapped in linens soaked in an herbal tea blend, a space blanket and a woolen blanket, raising your body temperature so you fully absorb the benefits of the oil and tea. You’ll stay wrapped for 15-20 minutes, during which time you can choose to receive an energy healing or simply relax. Then you’ll be unwrapped and get under the massage sheets for a focused, full body 85 minute massage.

The intention of the herbal wrap is to help you detoxify, reduce inflammation, promote circulation, relax and tonify your body. The organic herbs used are sourced sustainably and from reliable sources. Lemon grass, Awa root and Awa oil eases pain and muscle spasms. It is a natural sedative and is used to treat chronic stress or depression. Hibiscus detoxifies, ridding the body of free radicals. Papaya leaf is a strong antioxidant and a diuretic aid, ridding the body of excess fluid retention. Lemongrass limits the growth of microbes and bacteria on your body. It also an astringent, tightens your skin and reduces pore size. Seaweed draws excess fluid and waste products from the skin. It is rich in iodine which can help boost your thyroid function. Seaweed also produces a metabolism regulating chemical in the blood stream, which also helps to rejuvenate the skin.

This really is a healing treatment. Plan to drink a lot of water before and after and treat yourself with kindness and care the rest of the day. Eat clean, organic foods that make your body feel good. I recommend this always, but especially in the time following your wrap. Come with a swimsuit (two piece for women) as you will be getting off the table twice during the treatment.
